The Jetty

I wrote this after I recently moved out-of-state for the first time in my life and relocated to the Oregon Coast with my wife and child. A month later, my wife took my 2 1/2 year old son on a trip to Arizona while I had to stay and work. This song is the result of that lonely first day. This is also one of the songs in a dedication to the beautiful county in which my family and I live.
