Rose For Dixie

A love song. And a sad one at that. This song was inspired by a woman at a church service with a visitor's name tag that read "Dixie". I don't know what the sermon was about, but by the time the preacher finished, I had all the lyrics of the song written. Really, it's a Confederate song about losing the Civil War wrapped in a "Prodigal Son"ish metaphor.
