CHRISTINE. (Slaves 1974) On our first album we had a song called Janie, a song by Sandy about one of his girlfriends. He was now going out with Christine Campbell Anyway, all Sandy did was to substitute the lyric/name Janie for Christine, it’s the same song. Would Mick Jagger have changed the song Angie to Betty?
