Hold My Breath

Winner of the 2008 San Diego Music Award for Best Acoustic Artist, guitarist and vocalist Veronica May creates a crossbreed collage of indie, funk and blues. Her minor in percussion, 22 years of piano, and 8 years of guitar experience have helped her develop as an artist with the goal of writing songs that catch the ear with both word and melody. This song, Hold my Breath, reflects her rich and soulful sound influenced by the likes of Ani DiFranco, Jeff Buckley and Billie Holiday.
