When Pacifica residents, Carmen Ratti (lead guitar) and Buddy Rasberry (lead vocals) met in May of 2007, and began to discover each others love for great music, the seed that would become 12 Bar Hop was planted. With the additions of locals Sean Martin (drums) and John Linam (bass), the jam sessions quickly became practice and recording sessions, and sights were set on bringing a classic blues vibe, with a soulful and contemporary rock twist to the table. With the additions of locals Sean Martin (drums) and John Linam (bass), the jam sessions quickly became practice and recording sessions, and sights were set on bringing a classic blues vibe, with a soulful and contemporary rock twist to the table. Then in March of 2008 with the addition of another Pacifican, Lloyd Pollock (rhythm guitar), 12 Bar Hop was officially born.
