Grew up amongst the rough and in 1996 was charged and in 1999 incarcerated. He served four and a half years in prison. During this time, he couldn’t listen to the majors artist who told the stories he’s seen and know. Instead Young AMP honed is delivered and sharpened the vocabulary. Along with Cell Mates: Jack Boy and Ice then also incarcerated from Miami-Dade County A.M.P. became "One Ambitiuos MuthaFukkin Playa". Often challenged to do better and honing the ability to freestlye for hours. Once released April 1st 2003, 1-A.M.P. started seeking the route of putting them emotions and issues in life on wax. That day would prove no joke, he met up with Dirt Road producer Bott whom introduced and ushered in the first sounds of the newly released 1-A.M.P. Bott also introduced label mate C1 who also appears on Heavy Bass Smashes out the "RAW" with 1-A.M.P. 1-AMP has worked on and released his most current album in 2007, on his own Label Small City Records, Small City Big Gunz Mixtape Vol II. Artist currently featured on this release include Rawvera mixtape alumni D Low B, 1TEF and newcomer to the Raw Decibel Jones and more... Album is currently available. After the release of his 2007 album release, 1A.M.P, has worked on and completed Palm Beach County President and also his own Freestyle album(freestlye album was released on March 2008). It was orginally due to be released on May 2008. Due to a critical car accident on April 15, 2008, the released date was set back. Album is now due to release on October 10, 2008.
