Created from a broken up country band, 3 Rivers Alice officially formed in the Fall of '06, but has played together for years. All veterans of a Texas Country scene that began as a rebellious music but ended up turning into what it was rebelling against; the boys made their stand by joining the rock circuit. There they found hope, unity, equality, and most of all versatility that allowed them to be creative without limits. It was suddenly clear that you didn't need to spend 30,000 dollars on a cd for it to be what you wanted. With a low budget and a fan base that was shrinking due to new Rock & Roll material the band decided to make their own record. This unreleased record is still in the works and the band only plans to put out raw and rough recordings of their songs until it is complete. So until then; hear them, dig them, and SAVE LOVE.
3 RIVERS ALICE IS A 3 PIECE BAND WHO WHEN PUT TOGETHER HAVE A PRETTY EXTENSIVE RESUME. PLAYING IN SUCH ACTS AS COODER GRAW, 1100 SPRINGS, PAT GREEN, BLEU EDMONDSON, BONNIE BISHOP, MIKE MANCY, RUSTY WEIR AND MANY MORE. ALSO APPEARING IN THE MOVIES COYOTE FUNERAL, THE RANCH AND ON THE CMT TELEVISION SHOW MAKING THE SQUAD. THE BAND CONSISTS OF KELLY TEST, A VETERAN DRUMMER WHO IS NO STRANGER TO THE BUSINESS. THE UNT MUSIC GRADUATE HIT THE ROAD WHILE STILL IN COLLEGE AT THE BOOM OF THE TEXAS COUNTRY MOVEMENT. HE HOLDS NOTHING BACK WHEN IT’S SHOW TIME AND SHOWS VARIOUS MUSIC STYLES ON DRUM BEATS AND IN SONGWRITING. KENNY UPTAIN, A YOUNG BUCK WHO PICKED UP A GUITAR AT 15 AND STARTED PLAYING THE BARS AT 16. WRITING THE MAJORITY OF 3RA’S SONGS HE’S BECOME A SLAVE TO THE MUSIC. A CHARACTER THAT LOVES TO ENTERTAIN, WRITE SONGS, AND PERFORM FOR THE CROWDS. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE GREAT ROYCE TOMPKINS. HE IS A MONSTER ON THE BASS GUITAR; PLAYING A 6 STRING LIKE IT’S A 4. HE’S VERY ENTERTAINING TO WATCH AND PUTS ON AN AMAZING SHOW ALL ON HIS OWN. THE BAND IS BRAND NEW TO THE SCENE AS A 3 PIECE, BUT IS GAINING MOMENTUM SLOWLY BUT SURELY PUTTING THEIR BLEND OF SOUTHERN ROCK AND ROLL OUT THERE FOR THE WORLD TO HEAR.
