Formed by Alan Gant and Tom Callahan in the summer of 2008 in Fairfax, Va, Burn The Ballroom has always had deep roots in Rock, Pop, and Punk music. The duo released two home made EPs (The Blue and The Black) on iTunes before discovering Bentley Cobb, Jr., classically trained and freelance drummer out of Richmond, Va. The group was immediately picked up by Airgo Records, based out of Queens, NY, in the summer of 2009 and spent the following months developing their writing style and sound. After a brief series of studio sessions the trio parted ways with their new friends at Airgo, a decision that was more in keeping with their personal creative ambitions. BTB independently released their third, seven song EP "You're Already Mine" in the Fall of 2010. In December of 2010 the band announced it would release a brand new single every month of 2011 on iTunes and other major global digital retailers. Burn The Ballroom continues to release songs they truly love, and truly love sharing with their listeners from all musical backgrounds, and from all over the world.
