Band name back story: "Rid"(with a long "I" sound) is Arabic for support, like something you would use to hold a wall up that was decaying and coming down . . .  so we the Ridahz are here to hold up the walls of the kingdom of hip-hop. .. awYeah! We also don't sit still . . . we Ride . . .  for the cause of freedom, justice and equality.
