YHP was formed in Roanoke Virginia by Promoter/Manager Bobby Shepherd in Jan, 2012 with the goal in mind to restore HipHop back to its lyrical state from which it came. YHP was formed in Roanoke Virginia by Promoter/Manager Bobby Shepherd in Jan, 2012 with the goal in mind to restore HipHop back to its lyrical state from which it came. The 2 quickly took Roanoke, VA. by storm with their 1st mix tape under the label entitled Young, Fly, and Ambitious. The group appeared on local radio station WTOY the 5Forty Radio show, Performed at JB's Lounge, Formosa Lounge, Club 24 and many more through out the Virginia area. The group also appeared in the nations fastest growing digital magazine Talented the group was quoted as being "what the game has been missing". Nearly 6 months later TeamYHP continues to grow with the newest addition out of Danville, VA. Blaez Harrison. With his unique voice and flow YHP will be climbing the charts for years to come.
