About 2 years ago, Cody DeGraff and a few optimistic friends decided to start a band. This band was originally called One Way, but since that time has undergone two name changes. One Way evolved into The Renamed which then became A Beautiful Oblivion.
Many of the members have changed since the band first started, but the vision remains the same. "A Beautiful Oblivion" is a band with a heart for worshiping the Lord, while entertaining and witnessing to fellow teens. They aren't in it for the fame or the money, they are making music because they have been called by God to do so.
Today the band consists of: Cody DeGraff on lead vocals and keyboard, Justin Hausman as lead guitarist , Jon Edwards playing bass and doing the screams, and newcomer Josh Robichuad on guitar. For the time being, Efrain Beccerra fills in on drums while the band searches for a full-time drummer.
Based in the Auburn/Lewiston area, the band has previously played for the youth church service "Atmosphere" as well as other local venues.
