A Breakaway is a modern rock/mosh pop band (ranging anywhere from blink-182 to A Day to Remember) from East Haddam, Connecticut. A Breakaway is a modern rock/mosh pop band (ranging anywhere from blink-182 to A Day to Remember) from East Haddam, Connecticut. They originally formed back in 2008 as an alternative rock band called Aces High. Each one of its members has been performing together in various lineups for the past two years before finalizing its current roster, featuring Dan Burke wailing away on drums, Will Ventres and Kevin Vidou shredding on guitar, and Riley Bradway grooving on bass.
