A Cinematic Lie is a soaring force of energy unleashing it’s powerful, gritty, annoyingly beautiful sound. Not only does the listener feel satisfied of it’s non trendy melodies but find themselves wondering what’s about to happen next. This combination of two generations apart within it’s sound will find the soothing memories we once had playing itself only at movies, coming back to renderize our passion for music and life in new captivating images of sound. During High School Jonah wrote and played music no one wanted to be a part of. Years of trying to form a band and members coming and going, Jonah found a drummer within one of his high school teachers. Todd Brown taught Cisco / Multimedia classes to Jonah and after graduation Jonah asked his teacher to play a show with him. The show went very well and they notice the passion for music in each other. Over the years they played under many band names and just when everything seemed to be lost in January 2007 Jonah’s life took a turn and connected with himself again, called Todd, started of with new songs and a better direction for what they call “NOISE”. Every show they play is a journey through those who ear’s are adjusted to what’s out there already. With comments ranging from: “ where did you come up with those songs?” “Wow the music sounds HUGE!!!” “It’s very haunting and it reminds me of my favorite movies.” to “ I hate it cause I cant get it out of my head!” A Cinematic Lie leaves you asking yourself questions and becoming a conversation piece after each show. What does the band name mean? Well it means that the media feeds us day by day a bunch of crap telling us how to live, dress, look, listen, and feel like. This band is hear to change what the eyes, ears, heart and soul fear the most... pure honesty. So go out there spread the word!
