A.DASH is was raised in the Bronx, NY and moved to Spring Valley, NY during his adolescence. He is an 80's baby who was moved by Hip Hop in its original form. His yearning to recreate music of this great caliber lead him to begin his writing at the age of 14. It wasnt till he was 18 that he started to show his talents of to his friends. With positive responses he decided to take things to the next level. His recording started a year later after living in the Philadelphia underground circuit for a few years. By then many freestlyle battles had been won and many open mics had been played. He then brought together a group called True Game. After a couple years and 4 mixtape the group was dismantled and A.Dash was left at a crossroad. His hunger lead him to continue his music as a solo artist and then put out two mixtapes on his own terms. His local buzz in Rockland NY started to rise as he performed with and with out a live band and was a regular in rotation at a local station. Shortly after he became a part of a movement by the name of Gritty Lyf. He was recruited by Its CEO Nobi and has been with them ever since. He released two mixtapes under Gritty Lyf titled "Think Green" and "Think Verde" and has many Music Videos all over the net. A.Dash has be on many mixtapes through out his career like OnPoint, DJ LGee, Kochece, DJ Kep, Tony Anthemz, D.G.L, and many more. He has also performed in Venues like S.O.B.'s, China Club, Copacabana, Nuyorican Poets Cafe to name a few.
