After years of aimless jamming between college friends Chris Bullock, Courtney Love, and Greg Lazeren, the three finally knew they had something when brother Kevin Bullock showed up, guitar in hand, to cement all creative elements together. In amos’s music you’ll hear elements of Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, and the Allman Brothers’ Band in a composite form that pays homage, but doesn’t copy. Ranging from scathing social commentary and reflections on the human condition (Slew of Pigs, Laid to Waste), to bawdy and campy frat-house rock (The Hit That Baked Me, Blow Yourself To Live), the songs never compromise regardless of subject matter.
