Kenny Williams aka Adveket is a rapper/producer born in Boston, Mass. The son of two sixteen year old parents, Kenny spent his early years in Boston. Due to personal troubles his biological mother left Boston when he was still a young child, and would not be reunited with Kenny until nearly twenty years later. Moving to Natick, Massachusetts with his father and the non-biological mother who would end up raising him, Kenny grew up as a mixed race african american/puerto rican/caucasion hip hop fan in what was a predominantly white town with few peers who shared his musical tastes or cultural backgrounds. This introduced Kenny to a wider spectrum of influences and a broader perspective of life in general. The son of hip hop fans and always a huge fan of rap music himself, Kenny didnt begin writing his own rhymes and producing beats until the age of 14. What first started as a hobby became a form of therapy for him, as he would deal with the stresses of his parents and family splitting up and finding out at the age of 17 that he would be a father. Quickly developing an ability to turn his thoughts and feelings into music Kenny took the name Adveket, a respelled version of advocate which is a person who speaks out for other people or a cause. Using rap as an outlet Adveket turned his frustrations and anger into aggressive poetry he would begin using to battle other kids in his area. Wanting to go further with his art, Adveket began entering rap battles and musical competitions in local venues around the Boston area. During this time Kenny would go through the struggles of finding his place as a father, an artist , and a person.  Currently Adveket is busy creating solo projects as well as collaborative efforts with his 3rd 4rce team and others. Not allowing himself to be boxed in, Adveket's music explores many emotions and events from his life and the lives of the people around him while staying rooted in the competetive spirit that introduced him into the music business through battling. As for the future, Adveket has his sights set on competing at the highest levels of the music biz and telling his story to the world.
