About meself....
Well, lets see, I left my day job two years ago (heck I probably would have lost it by now anyway!) which gave me the time and mental space to make the record I've always wanted to make--Its called Big Red Sun.
I started writing these songs in the sunset of the Bush Era -- end of 2007, beginning of 2008. My caveman brain unconsciously began doing what people have done for thousands of years when clouds loom -- huddling, turning inwards to family and friends, trying to solidify the things we have even a scintilla of control over. On Big Red Sun, you will find characters trying in their own clumsy ways to take care of one another, be better friends and lovers, wiser parents, sometimes succeeding, sometimes not, often not knowing which. Set against a backdrop of global drift, Big Red Sun explores these relationships as fragile but powerful sources of solace.
I've set up a page on my website to visit to learn more, read all the lyrics, listen to clips, and see photos of the players (17 in all!).
