Aiming for Hudson is the Las Vegas duo of Christine Hudman and Lionel Hamel. The two have been friends for several years and have had numerous musical collaborations. They have many years of combined experience in the music business. Their talents include writing, producing, and performing. Christine Hudman is originally from a small town in West Texas called Albany. She grew up singing with her mother in church and at family gatherings. After finishing High School , she studied music and theatre at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. From there, she was accepted and given a scholarship to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. After graduating from acting school, she spent the next several years performing in New York, regionally, and on the road with Broadway touring companies. She has sung all over the world from Paris to Tokyo to Alaska. Over the years, Christine has done numerous recordings in Nashville , Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas. She has also done voice-overs for Lexus and children’s books. Ms. Hudman now lives in Las Vegas and shares her home with her husband Josh and their two young children, Harper Scout and Griffin. Lionel Hamel has been playing the guitar and singing since the age of 9. He grew up in a small town outside of Montreal called Mascouche in Quebec, Canada. With French being his primary language, it wasn't until the age of 25 that Lionel traveled to England with his band "The Next" that he learned to speak English. Lionel has performed with numerous artists including Celine Dion. His music has been recorded and featured in many places from Budweiser ads to Cirque du Soleil's "Dralion" soundtrack. Lionel is also a very gifted sound engineer and has been doing all levels of production for over 20 years. He has done the recording, producing, editing, and mixing of several projects including; Space Cats, The 1996 Atlanta Olympic games for all Canadian media outlets, and the short film "Whatever It Takes". In 2004, Lionel accepted an offer from Cirque du Soleil to move to Las Vegas for their production of KA at the MGM Grand. Lionel has been with the show for 6 years as the guitar player and computer programmer.
