You guessed it, there were tears and more tears by teachers and parents alike throughout the audience. Inspired to become a drummer, she began studying drums at age 7 and served as Drumline Captain for 3 years for her high school marching band. She wrote her first song when she began playing guitar at age 13 . . . and began performing as a solo acoustic artist throughout NC & SC in 2005 . . . . TODAY Alexis performs with her band, and the occasional acoustic show . . . Musician in nationally released, award winning Magnolia Pictures film "Great World of Sound" with actors Pat Healy and Kene Holiday, Performed at the pre-release screening at Visulite Theatre in Charlotte August 2007.
