His roots trace back to Dominican Republic, where his family made the decision to make way to the United States for a better lifestyle. Born and raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn New York, A Minor escaped in Hip-Hop music. Realizing that he was already living in a city of true music pioneers, he took notes analyzing the art of music and learning the basics of DJing from his stepfather. Maturing in the game, A Minor focused on teaching himself the ways to produce music. Undoubtedly, A Minor’s passion for creating quality music that people could enjoy and respect, kept him motivated. It was never a question of “Can he do it?” or “Would people like it?” It was more of him wanting to improve, and continue offering music that would take the listener on a musical episode, from track to track. Fortunately, A Minor has been blessed with the opportunity to further his love for recording and producing, by receiving a formal education. He graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Business along with an Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts. The knowledge and proficiency he has attained in school as well in the real world, has put him in the driver seat of his destiny. At this level, it’s now or never for Producer/Recording artist A Minor. Remaining humble and appreciating every connection made in this industry, as well as being smart in the decisions made for his music career, will continue to open doors, presenting him on the front stage. Thankfully, having a listening audience supporting his creations and truly waiting for what’s next is something that he has once dreamed about.
