Her flair for theatrics is evident in all of her live performances as well as her charismatic personality, but it was her innate talent and rare 5 octave vocal range that led her to her first recording contract at the age of 15, becoming the first Hispanic person in history to ever sing "The Star Spangled Banner" at a Presidential inauguration in 2005, a private performance at the White House in 2006 for the President of the United States, his royal highness the Crowned Prince of Spain among others, singing at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York City ,a performances in large stadium NFL events such as for the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars , recording the theme song to the Univision sports World Cup Germany 2006,performing for Miami Heat/Marlins games and more. Her plans are to continue writing and recording music in the genres of pop/rock/and country.
She had been singing since the tender age of 5. Ana attended Gulliver Preparatory Highschool in Miami and went on to graduate from Broadcast Journalism and Environmental studies from Florida International University. Ana Cristina writes music and lyrics from the heart and every song is like an excerpt from the diary of her life.
Ana Cristina is an active member of ASCAP and supports and has worked with local South Florida charitable organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation if Southern Florida and Baypoint Schools.
