Anchors is a band comprised of four members Brandon Williams, Seth Hecox, Shaun Hughes and Justin Holtsclaw. The band was conceived in the mind of Seth (also of Becoming The Archetype) as a way of making music that should be made, but isn't being made by many other acts out today. Anchors is a band comprised of four members Brandon Williams, Seth Hecox, Shaun Hughes and Justin Holtsclaw. The band was conceived in the mind of Seth (also of Becoming The Archetype) as a way of making music that should be made, but isn't being made by many other acts out today. Namely, Anchors is about making fun music that incorporates good singing and harmonies, sometimes as many as three parts to the vocals. Anchors started in December ‘06 and has been playing shows in the Southeast and will be touring in 2008 with The Flood Memoirs as well as Jonah 33, Thieves and Liars and Farewell June. Anchors recorded three songs with Matt Goldman with the help of their manager Caleb Morgan (newlinemgmt.com). As soon as the demo was released things were off to a good start. Anchors started a myspace page (myspace.com/ouranchors) and let all of their friends into the side project of Count Seth of Becoming the Archetype. Anchors' shows have earned them high praise and enthusiasm from a loyal group of fans in the Georgia and Alabama area. Because of this, Anchors has become part of the musical premiere in the southeast. In '09 Anchors released their official EP recorded by Matt Malpass and the rest is history.
