Growing up in a spiritual African environment I was inspired by many things I heard and saw. Voices like Bob Marley, Louis Armstong, Peter Spencer of �Smokies�, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson and a host of others mystified me. My adolescence age opened a window of musical sophistication I ended up making my first guitar out of rubber wood. (I also happened to make the other two machines that I liked the most, an aircraft and a hand gun) I became infatuated by the guitar techniques of George Benson, Joe Pass, Earl Klugh, Django Reinhardt, Andres Segovia, Wes Montgomery etc. Many years ago I had the privilege to watch Charlie Hunter (8 strings guitar living legend) in concert in Europe after his show I was seriously challenged so I said to myself, Andy! Go out there get your guitar it's time to do your thing the world is waiting. Apart from the songs I compose and perform, I have taken all the guitar feels of Jimi Hendrix and bringing them all alive - sometimes people talk to me as if my name was Jimi even worse when they realize that my birthday is 28th November. * Andy is the first African artist who sneaked into Bulgaria music scene since and still making a head way ever since 1999. He is the first black man ever to sign a major record contract with the Bulgaria�s number one record label PAYNER MUSIC LTD in 2001. Andy aka DSBG demonstrated his talent by writing and recording the first ever known well composed reggae hit in this country in the same year (I Like The Way The Wind Blows). One year later he came up with another unexpected hit a duet single with Magdalena Sanchez a meshing of the Bulgarian so called pop folk music and modern R&B. "Az Niama Da Placha" (a composition of one of the Payner Music producers). This song took the country by storm and made its way to the top of the Bulgaria National Television music chart. Multi talented Andy from that time on has been the backbone of many good tunes ever heard on Bulgarian radios. A guitarist, songwriter, rapper, singer etc says that he will never slow down in his ambitions until he discovers a new style of music. He became the first foreign artist to contest in the finals of the 2006 Bulgarian song for the EUROVISION in Athens with Violetta Jeknich (a former superstar in Serbia, "Villi Rai") with a composition of Aleksander Kovacevic produced by Goran Jeknich "Dance At Night". He is also privately involved in writing lyrics for some local artists, friends and overseas based superstars in America, Africa and Europe. He has lately been involved in some Hollywood film productions and the last few ones he featured in are: �The Shepherd" Starring Jean Claude Van Damme, HitMan of Luis Besson, etc. His current music projects will take the entire world by storm.
