I started singing at the age of 8 and well...I never stopped :P! I explored this passion with my brother (a former singer) and this passion has stayed with me 10 years later! I even began doodling words around the age of 10 that soon became lyrics of how I wanted love in my life & fantasies of the future as a little girl. I was in choir my first year of junior high but I hated it & I never gave it my best effort, I eventually stopped and got out the next year. Since then, I always sang inside my bedroom walls; being too afraid to think what others might say about my singing. I picked up the guitar my senior year of highschool & I never put it back down. I taught myself and proved to myself that I can do anything as long as I put my mind to it! I have always struggled growing up to parents who wanted nothing more than for me to be a doctor, or lawyer, or someone who would have a great & promising career. So during my 17 years of life, I couldn't explore stages or didn't have the best knowledge of getting out there. Now at the age of 18, I have been able to legally go out and audition for numerous hit TV shows & talent competitions! I hope that my story of keeping faith & hope will give you the strength to do the same :) We have pens to write our own story & I just so happen to write songs out of them! Live Your Dream, Angel Yang
