Ania’s Playground can be described as a quirky pop duo from London. Ania is a young, fresh and unique singer songwriter who grew up surrounded by music. Having been inspired by her father who is a classical pianist, music has always been embedded deep in her heart from a very young age. During Ania’s musical journey, she met Carlos, a producer, guitarist and songwriter. This collaboration created Ania’s Playground. Merging these two forces together with Carlos experience as a musician and producer and Ania’s unique vocals and fearless songwriting approach a new sound was created, one that has captured the hearts of many of their fans. The sound of the playground is pop, soulful and melodic. They have headlined venues such as Proud, Camden Rock, The Water Rats and The Bowery to name but a few. Each show gives them a platform to connect with their fans through their unique sound, catchy melody lines and meaningful lyrics. BBC radio broadcaster and DJ Gary Crowley saw the raw talent in Ania’s Playground and as a result their first single ‘’River of gloom’’ was played on his radio show ‘BBC Introducing’. Before this new fresh duo were even established on the music scene they were already generating a real hype due to their contagious energy that was now not only reaching their fans but critics and broadcasters alike.
