Art of Deception is a 4 piece Melodic metal band hailing from the surrounding wastelands of Orange, NSW. Unchained by modern genre stereotypes the band aims to transend the sounds of traditional metal and stand apart from the crowd. After a series of lineup changes Art of Deception has solidifed with a non-frontman format with multi-instrumental musicians for a more versified sound. Pounding drums and Rhythmic guitars and bass, thick with overlays of Electro and industrial are the cornerstone of Art of Deception sound. Art Of Deception released its Debut Demo EP "Ashes in the Envelope" on August 9th 2008. The Ep is currently available only upon request or at sale at Aftershock Rocords, Orange, NSW. Art of Deception is currently writing/recording its Debut full-length Album entitled "Words for the wounded", a 12 track, loosely-based concept album revolving around a post-apocalyptic event that has destroyed the world.
