Over the past few years they've entertained thousands including a visit to Qatar for an audience with Queen Sheikah Mozah. They've showcased for Contact East and have performed at various folk festivals across the Maritimes including the Stan Rogers Folk for which they received numerous standing ovations. Ashelin have also been the entertainment for various high class events such as world podium with guest speaker Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. They have been collecting and arranging folk songs as well as writing and collaborating their own original material for their up-coming album, produced by the incomparable Grammy Award winner George Massenburg and by ECMA Award winner and one of the top audio designers and sound engineers in Canada, Al Strickland. Their album will be released this summer.
