Ashton Blue is a solo artist from the east coast with more than 1200 live performances logged onto his musical resume. Touring with a full band and as a solo performer, Ashton has performed in venues, colleges and clubs throughout the US. Influenced by many artists ranging from The Beatles to Coldplay, Ashton Blue has developed a unique sound that combines a modern edge with a classic singer/songwriting. For the last year Ashton Blue has confined himself within the walls of partnering studio, Media Antic Studios in an effort to write, arrange, and record his second recorded album. Discovering his own sound, Ashton Blue has played a major role in the production of his new record entitled, “Life, less ordinary”. He has written, arranged and recorded every track on the album. He has engineered and produced every song on the record. He even assisted in the mixing process to complete the production cycle. Life, less ordinary delves into Ashton Blue’s influences and utilizes many vintage tones and instruments that have inspired the artist over the years.. Upon final completion of post-production mastering and duplication, Ashton Blue is scheduled to release “Life, less ordinary” in March of 2008. This ten song record is the first release since his 2004 debut CD entitled, “Four years running”. Many say that the new record is edgier than the previous.
