Shortly after this accomplishment, I realized that I can bring it a step further into music format..,My husband (Mike Speed) went to school for audio engineering in 2005 to pursue and fulfill his passion for music...He has since worked with several artists and some were not so committed or just did not have what I call " the fire burning in their chest"...He became discouraged and I would not allow this, so after several years of sitting in the background encouraging and inspiring, I decided to pick up the microphone one night when an artist was a "no show" and went with my heart the best way I felt and everything seemed to click and run smoothly... which brought us songs: Society, Sharpies, Snowglobe, Mongers Of The News, These Days, Sour Apples and more...
I believe in the "true voice" of our souls; our expereinces in life,failures that lead to success;
the journey between the two of which creates the essence that makes us all human and equal...and there is no way around that, because someone will always listen...someone will always love, someone will always hurt, it's how we can take "this and that" to help and inspire others, be there, to make a difference...to relate and to create some beauty in the "madness of it all", this life we all share, which pushed me to believe in my album "Playing in Traffic"...
