We are a new original upcoming power Trio from the southwest England consisting of Uvonji Uzele: Lead Vocals/Bass, David Growcott: drums and Adam Healey: Guitars. From our compositions to our live performances the way of our playing is all dictated by how we feel emotionally, “when we feel angry, mellow or cheery you will hear it in the music”, this band is not about “limited Genre”, it’s about expressing life and all its coloured experiences, though regardless of our versatile sound you will hear a distinct signature, we hope we can add something new to the scene. Our musical influences come from bands such as, Led Zeppelin/Jimi Hendrix/Free/ Bob Dylan/ Richie Havens. The Ataraxis Vibration project was created by Uvonji Uzele. A few months prior to the creation of the project “Vonj” found himself in a state of thought, he had a hunger for knowledge and was indulging himself in poetry and philosophy, He then began to produce some personal written work and created many written pieces on numerous subjects, Through this is when he discovered that he actually had something to say verbally as appose to only musically through his instrument “Bass” , as daunting as it seemed for him at the time he realised that to reach his full potential he needed to step on to the Mic and start singing, then just overnight he had an epiphany, he needed to create a new project in order to grow and meet his full potential, however this new profound vision meant that he had to graduate from a band project he was playing bass for (the James Hamer band) and focus on homing 100% of his creative potential by starting a new project from the ground up,..The conception of “Ataraxis Vibration” was born.
