Aurora Falls is comprised of long time friends Jacob Stark and Nick Angelo. The two had previously made noise in their hometown of Las Vegas in local mainstay bands Anias and With Broken Wings. Aurora Falls is comprised of long time friends Jacob Stark and Nick Angelo. The two had previously made noise in their hometown of Las Vegas in local mainstay bands Anias and With Broken Wings. The end of 2007 marked a new chapter for them as they decided to come together and make Aurora Falls their full time creative endeavor. January 2008 brought the release of a 3-song acoustic/electric demo; "Pick Me Apart" instantly became the stand-out track to thousands of listeners within a short time. In March 2008, bassist Robbie Marsh and drummer Danny Salazar joined the lineup to record the Aurora Falls EP in the Summer of 2008. Angelo's guitar leads soaring and falling over Stark's contagious melodies make it impossible for you not to sing along. After a short hiatus in 2009, Stark and Angelo have began writing and recording new material, infectious and melodic as ever. Desiring to bring back the catchy, unmistakable musicality of bands like Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and Copeland, Aurora Falls is poised to come to the forefront with a new, fresh indie take on pop. Since Aurora Falls first made their debut, they were picked to perform on the Kevin Says Stage at Warped Tour in Salt Lake City June 28, 2008. Aurora Falls has also been a spotlighted band on Sonicbids.com in June, the featured band for June 2008 on Streetwise.com, a featured band in MusicNation.com's June 30th newsletter, and semi-finalists in the Spin Magazine Hot Pursuit contest.
