Ava was born in a small town in New Jersey. Since the fifth grade, music has been her passion. Now, at 18, Ava finds many ways to perform every chance she gets. She began taking piano lessons in third grade, and continued throughout middle school, until her family moved to North Carolina when she was in eighth grade. Although her love for piano stays strong, she found a joy for the guitar three years later, in sixth grade. Ava never took guitar lessons, therefore teaching herself was not the easiest way around it. Still, she practices whenever she has free time, and progresses each day.
The same year, Ava decided to take part in her school’s talent show. After performing for about 490 people, she wanted to do it again. Ava has performed many times for family, friends, and other small audiences. Every school dance, she did everything in her power to perform for everyone there.
At thirteen, Ava recorded her first EP "Why?" at a studio in New Jersey. Ava performed multiple times for Morning Meeting at her new school, as well as talent shows and festivals, during the course of freshman and sophomore year. In the summer of 2009, Ava recorded her second EP "2 Live Alone" before she left North Carolina. Later that summer, Ava and her family re-located again, this time to New York, and she continues on her path to becoming a rock star and has much faith in fulfilling her dreams.
Having gone through some difficult experiences, and written 100+ songs about all of them, Ava wants to share her message through the world. Her music has helped people already, and she hopes to keep helping people, for many can relate to some of her experiences. A lot of hard work is involved in doing this, but Ava knows what it takes, and prays for her life-long dream to become a reality. In her heart, Ava knows that someday she will be underneath the spotlight.
