Banzi “Da Bad Guy “(Product of Environment) June 18, 1981 Onta Thomas, known today as Banzi “DA BAD GUY” was given life in Flint, MI. The "Bad Guy" took on the challenges of the shallow music scene in Flint at the young age of eight years old with his strong urge to create good music. His will to create poetry and music has always been in his heart, especially after listening to LL Cool J, Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane. Nas, B.I.G., Tupac, Rakim and Jay-Z also became his favorites too. Bad Guy's mother was against rap for him, but realized her son had a gift. By age 14 Bad Guy finally graced an industry recording studio. His brief encounter with a major label fell through and Bad Guy had to start over from square one. Bad Guy’s new start included collaborations with fellow rappers in the neighborhood - 1000 Bars, Apollo and Mass Money. The four guys formed a group called Bred Thoro and eventually created their own record label - Family Over Riches Entertainment - and never looked back. Bad Guy pursued his dream with a bullet. He recorded non-stop throughout high school, and with the help and support of his family and Bred Thoro group members he was beyond ready. Bad Guy had shows all over the country including - Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, and New York, Kentucky and of course Michigan and was openining up for artist such as Fabolous, Lox, Juvenile, Too Short, D-12, Purple Gang, Ludacris, Dayton Family, Clipse, T.I. and others. Currently, Dope Boy Records and Bad Guy are in a movement together, along with such label mates as 1000 Bars, Apollo and other artists mentioned in Family Over Riches Entertainment on an independent level. This musical motivation gives Bad Guy the drive and edge needed to succeed as an artist in these times. Bad Guy is presently working with established artists, producers and promoters in Atlanta, GA. Bad Guy has been on many mixtapes and has profited greatly from underground sales of his own mix tapes. Bad Guy: The poet, writer, entertainer and artist is now better than before and still growing, Banzi "Da Bad Guy" is a product of experience and learning from it. This super artist is ready for the industry and its challenges.
