bari. comes from an extremely diverse background. Both parents active military, he was forced to relocate around the world upon a moment’s notice, setting the tone for his musical endeavors. bari. comes from an extremely diverse background. Both parents active military, he was forced to relocate around the world upon a moment’s notice, setting the tone for his musical endeavors. At age 15, Ms. Iris Stevenson (who’s story inspired the hit movie “Sister Act 2” & director for Crenshaw High School Choir) recognized his ambition & talent, taking him along for various tour dates in Europe. Returning back to the US, bari. continued to gain additional experience in the world of entertainment staying in the recording studio & playing various clubs and local colleges. Still in high school, bari.’s music landed on the desk of former LaFace Records’ A&R Director Candy Tookes who received his production package & was impressed enough to enlist him to complete a remix for LaFace recording artist Toni Braxton. After relocating to Atlanta & several distractions later, bari. was introduced to sitcom actor & budding entrepreneur Emmanuel Lewis (of Webster fame) who recently formed a new production company with his brother Chris and lead to becoming in-house producer & songwriter. **During this time, bari. collaborated with Ohio-based producer/rapper Trife, songwriting duo & recording artist 2 Mil (Tank, City High), Grammy award winning engineer & producer AJ Wolfe (Toni Braxton, Jazze Pha, Out of Eden), and Tomika Scott of Xscape. bari.’s music has been featured on several TV networks (Viacom (MTV, VH1, BET) A&E, Oxygen channel & ABC) and has received airplay via radio stations all over Europe. His first digitally released single “The Thought That Counts” is internationally available for download via iTunes.
