This four-piece band out of the small Fox Valley area in Wisconsin has big dreams. Baywood Park once started off as two guys, Dylan-lead vocals/keys and Ben-lead guitarist, playing small shows and writing music for their own enjoyment. They recorded a five-song, self-titled EP with singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer, Tony Anders of Verona Grove. They were even fortunate enough to have one of the songs from the EP, “Coast of Cali,” receive local radio play on 95.9 Kiss FM. When they started receiving more and more positive feedback from their friends, family, and local fans they decided to take their music to the next level by putting together a full band.
They started jamming with their good friend, Jordan-bassist/backing vocals, and his brother, Justus-drummer, in Jordan’s basement apartment.
From there, things really started to take off. In the summer of 2010 they started playing shows around the area as a full band. As Baywood Park played around more often, they kept getting bigger and better shows. The energy they bring to every live performance is something everyone remembers and enjoys. They have had the opportunity to play with nationally touring bands such as, Quietdrive, Rookie of the Year, A City Alive, and Remedy Drive. They have been featured in a couple newspapers including, THE LIST, which is based out of San Diego, and The Advance Titan, which is based out of the UW-Oshkosh campus.
Baywood Park is currently working on putting together a tour this summer in hopes to expand their music throughout the Midwest. They are also in the process of recording their debut, full-length album with Tony Anders. They have said this new album will be very up beat and filled with meaningful lyrics; something every listener will be able to rock to! Baywood Park has a passion for music that they hope others will enjoy as they keep writing and expanding their listeners.
