Who is T. Beasty? He came in this game with nothing, but he is determined to have it all. Born Terry Dontia Thomas, T. Beasty was born and raised in Chicago, IL, the birthing place of his love and gratitude towards music. From Chicago he moved to Little Rock, AK to Beloit, WI, to Rockford, IL, to Cincinnati, OH, where he now resides. T. Beasty’s musical inspirations include Al Green, Young Jeezy, and Heat Wave. The very diverse array of music he was brought up on explains his very unique, urban swagger in his music today. T. Beasty moved to Cincinnati in 1997. Just 5 years after relocating to Cincinnati, his brother, Timothy Thomas was shot and killed by a Cincinnati Police officer in April 2001. The death of Timothy Thomas caused one of the most destructive, historic riots Cincinnati has ever seen. Even after the riots, city officials called for a boycott against some businesses in Downtown Cincinnati, a boycott that continues in this present day. The lost of his brother instilled the inspiration to start writing down his thoughts, form them into lyrics, and create songs that told the story of his life. T. Beasty’s first song entitled Finest Hour, a song dedicated to his brother, was his first attempt of compensating for the emptiness in his heart. The song featured a sample from Smokey Robinson. Eventually, T. Beasty began rapping with his cousin’s record label, Beat Gang Entertainment, where he became acquainted and respected by the late Bryan Couch (B. Chubb). He later began a brief alliance with Strong Arm Entertainment, where he recorded his first single entitled 513 Stand Up. Currently, he is under the artist roster of up and coming independent record label/entertainment company, Urban Dynasty Entertainment. The release of his first project was May 12, 2007, entitled Beasty Da Mixtape. When T. Beasty reaches the level of success he dreams of, one of his main priorities is to give back to the community. A dream of his is to donate the sum of $2000.00 to as many needy families as possible. More importantly, T. Beasty wants to provide for his family, so that everything they desire can be obtained. T. Beasty’s basic goals include raising his children in a suitable environment, providing for his family, and striving to be a humanitarian; helping the world one day at a time, and obtaining longevity in the business of music
