Beat Milk Jugs was founded in 2001,in a Latvian province city Daugavpils and moved to the UK in 2005. Influenced by the global electronic and breakbeat music scene, the four "friends-forever" (Jev Maligin, Dmitry Konovalov, Max Lapkovsky and Peter Bakash) quite frequently appeared Djing on local rave stages. DJing, however, was not what the band was after, and starting with 2002 the team concentrated on creating its own music. In course of the next several years Beat Milk Jugs had recorded their first three CDs that were never officially released and available only to friends.
The band went on experimenting, mixing live instruments and vocals with electronic music. Programming and recording was not enough exciting though, and Beat Milk Jugs with this in mind have never refused a single gig and always tried to play more and more.
The first single to be officially released was "She Likes Black" that quite immediately found itself on the top position of British Future Music Magazine's Reader Demos Top 10 in 2006, as well as became the first to be officially available for download in the web. The next single "Caxap", released in 2007, kept walking the same path and won another 1st place in this Future Music's monthly chart. Another new single "Stereoluck" (2007) became the band's favorite track in live gigs, and seems to be the rockiest track so far.
Today Beat Milk Jugs go on playing their own live music and doing shows, being ready to rock the house any-and everywhere.
