Born from the imagination of Sean Kennedy a little over two years ago, Sean wanted to create a new but original band. Born from the imagination of Sean Kennedy a little over two years ago, Sean wanted to create a new but original band. A band which would involve many different genres along with a story hidden deep with in the music. Sean brought his ideas to long-time friend and musician Craig Welch. Finding the musicians was the easy part; staying a band was even harder. After many musicians and band names, such as Falling From Glory, EverAge, and The Tragic, the pieces started to fit together during the summer of 2007. Sean and Craig quickly started recording, aiming both big and professional. With many hours recording and mixing doing both tasks themselves a sound was forming and a band was being created. Dave Ekondol worked many hours with Sean and Craig, producing amazing drums for the demo tracks. David left in December for the Air Force. Soon after Sean contacted Dante Cataldo to play drums. Sean and Dante were in Heros 4 Hire together. Dane brought on Josh Moule and the final four was created. Dead By August will be the bands' first self-release.
