Becca Bishop

My name is Becca Bishop and I am a singer/songwriter from the lovely Fresno, CA. I have been a singer since longer than I can talk. I come from a family of talented musicians and role models and they got me started singing in church at a young age. . I later joined band playing the French horn, choir and drama in 5th grade and still to this day do those things in college. When I was 9 I picked up guitar and immediately started writing out my ideas and showing the world…or whoever would listen...

I come from a family of talented musicians and role models and they got me started singing in church at a young age. . I later joined band playing the French horn, choir and drama in 5th grade and still to this day do those things in college. When I was 9 I picked up guitar and immediately started writing out my ideas and showing the world…or whoever would listen. At age 10 I picked up piano and learned about how music works and what it takes to make it meaningful…you got to give yourself through your song. Your song is a reflection of you and who you are and how you are feeling. I am currently attending the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music and CSU long Beach as a music education/vocal performance major and have loved every minute of it. I wanted to learn ALL aspects of my craft to be a well rounded musician. I could see myself teaching others about what I do and see myself on stage in plays or what not…but my heart is in performing “my music.” I want to express what I am feeling to the world. If I can change just one life with my music…then I am a success. I hope to begin this journey blossom into what God has intended for me.
