Gothic rock project Bellum Gothicum Orchestra is a result of emerged creative energies of a composer, producer and arranger Nenad Antanasijevic - Antanas, and singers and songwriters, sisters Katarina and Kristina Vukovic. Guided by magical story, which composed their beliefs and expressed their struggle in the field of preserving eco-systems, and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships, they created a concept album, Tales From The Forest Of Oblivion during 2010. and 2011., in the studio ANTANAS. Album has seen the light on 16th May 2011.
Agreeing on the fact that the name of the band should have something to do with the place from which they come, Belgrade trio decided to combine their work under a term - Bellum Gothicum Orchestra. Interesting choice of words is not random. It actually represents a title of the first written document about the creed of the Balkans that was written by well known byzantine historian Procopius from Caesarius. Explaining its decision, the band members said that they had chosen this document, because it is the creed and faith (in a better future and true emotions), what they were united by.
Band is formed on November 14, 2010 in Belgrade, Serbia.
