Thanks to a shitty second hand guitar given to me when I was 10 and a brother of grunge influence, I learnt Plush by Stone Temple Pilots and couldn't put the strings down. I then went on to teach myself how to rhyme and when played with a very basic chord progression, I decided I wanted to make songs. Ten years and three guitars later, I'm comfortable writing with my heart (as cliché as that may sound) and there's no better feeling than sharing this with someone else, whether it be in my bedroom or on a stage... But it’s better on a stage. I'm a bit of an emo in the sense that I sing about all the drama in my life (woe is me - haha) and occasionally I have trouble writing if I'm not all heart broken and things but that's proving to be a nice challenge and something I'm working on. The last few years have been spent moving between states and cities; all the while putting pen to paper, plectrum to string and dodgy home recording to disc. 2009 brings a new approach and studio time is complete for her EP release mid-year.
