BEXX brings two very diverse musical and entertainment back grounds together, creating a new and unique sound. Terry Crosby and Rebecca Jones bring a distinctive and superior sound and production to fresh feel to standards we all know and love along with new and exciting groves and sounds to today’s new music along with their own original music. As an original member of Neil Young’s band and close association with Fred Turner of Bachman Turner Overdrive (BTO) in the early years, Terry Crosby has been involved with the development and instrumentation of some of rocks most classic songs (“American Woman”, “Taking Care of Business” and many others). Terry’s true love though has been in Jazz and classical, he was fortunate enough to play an impromptu set with Herbie Hancock in the 1986. Terry brings a bit of jazz fusion elements to familiar songs. In addition, Terry , a Mechanical Engineer by trade, grew his company to 30 engineers in Orange County and designed the mechanical systems for many of California “Industry” landmarks, “Universal City Walk”, Numerous Disney projects, CBS Television studios, Glen Glenn Sound, Terry is also a proven and successful television and video producer. Mr. Crosby developed and launched the fist 24 hour all Computer Television Network (now call Tech T.V.) with original ORACLE software founders. Terry started the Network from his Office in Truckee, at Lake Tahoe and wrote, produced and directed more than 200 shows for the cable network using an Earth uplink to the networks own satellite transponder. Terry also co-produced the 3 hour video, “Keys to Ascension” for the rock band “Yes” in 1997. Terry has always had a love for music, computers, technology and visual effects, now, coming back into music, he is pooling all his creative and technical talents to create a superior and exciting sounding and visual show to showcase BEXX. Rebecca Jones brings a wealth of experience as a performer. Fronting bands all over the country, from Rock to Country to Jazz and stage. Rebecca has also had the good fortune to study with some of the 20th centuries best vocal coaches (Judy Davis most known for her work with Barbara Streisand, Seath Riggs, Judy Harrison vocal coach to En Vogue) In the 80’s Rebecca toured throughout Canada and the U.S. fronting the Rock band Tour De Force, opening for such acts as Joan Jett and being referred to as the Pat Benetar of the North Pacific. Rebecca also fronted the Rock a Billy band The Incredible Diamonds, and fronted several bands in Reno and Las Vegas. Rebecca also gained interest in her song writing in the 90’s by some major publishers. Though Rebecca has a vocal range that matches many of today’s contemporary diva’s she has learned to bring more feeling to her song interpretation than vocal gymnastics. Rebecca is a true performer that never loses sight of her audience and fan base. Rebecca is a true entertainer with a warmth and stage presence that captivates and keeps her audience entertained and mesmerized. Rebecca rewrote lyrics to “Don’t rain on my Parade” for Larry King, and performed the song in front of Larry and his wife. Terry and Rebecca are building a new and exciting show with no venue boundaries or music style. Although they lean heavily on the new house/techno with a jazz undertone, Rebecca will also captivate you with ballads and popular cover songs. They have also are working with some of the best musicians and DJ’s in Los Angeles, to compliment and bring a young and exciting energy to their performances and shows.
