BIGG ERUPSHUN Raised in Scott Projects Liberty City, BIGG E-RUPT has evolved his mentality and talents to become an innovative Rapper and Entrepreneur in Miami, Florida. He has collaborated with many artists to transform the streets with beats and lyrics that reflect his passion. Sam Sneak (Rick Ross’ DJ) calls him “Mr. Take It To The Streets.” During his turbulent childhood surrounded by drugs and violence, music was the only way to drown out the sounds of the murderous streets. Unfortunately, his circumstances resulted in his incarceration in 1996. While serving his time, BIGG E-RUPT had to handle the tragic death of his mother. When he could not attend his mother’s funeral, he realized he had one life to live and became thirsty for success. After his release from State Prison in December of 1999, BIGG E-RUPT was determined to leave the street life and pursue a career in the music industry. He began rapping about the struggles and adversity he had bottled inside. At 19 years old, BIGG E-RUPT was inspired to reach out to those that he had met throughout his life. He called upon his trusted friend Susan, who arranged a meeting with Tiger, the CEO of Black Tears Entertainment. This meeting put him on a positive pathway and his career began to take shape. His first break came in 2001 with Black Tears Entertainment when he signed as a solo artist and worked with their production team, 2AM. However, 2AM Productions expanded to create 2AM Entertainment, which established the Florida Boyz. This successful group of their finest artists released a compilation album, “Dem Thangz,” which sold 1000 units in the streets and 5,000 download through CD Baby. With this success, BIGG E-RUPT was motivated to create his own record label in 2004, known as Dirty Dawg South. He quickly released “Take It 2 The Streetz, Vol.1 Miami’s Best Kept Secret” hosted by DJ Spoon. It caught the attention of Nick V of The Baka Boyz Morning Show on 103.5 THE BEAT. This collaboration generated “We Get Money, Vol. 2” and “Respect It or Check It, Vol. 3” hosted by Nick V, which sold 7,000 units. This attention transcended BIGG E-RUPT to the next level in his career. He began promoting from Miami to New York with the purchase of billboards, magazine covers, radio spots, and BET spots. As BIGG E-RUPT was participating in a rap battle for a record deal with Vision Records, Jasper Johnson of Clear Channel Outdoor took notice. This fostered a relationship with Pimp G of F.U.P.M.O.B and the release of the single “We Getting Money” from the Law and Order Project in 2005, which took his credibility to the next level. This international single sparked the interest of Rick Ross, Blood Raw, and C-Ride which cosigned all future projects leading to the current 2009 project, “The Foundation.” BIGG E-RUPT has teamed with Dirty Dawg South and Star Circuit Media to release his new single “Big Bio Swag” and “Dance The Night Away.” He is determined to make his future brighter and take his career to another level for 2010.
