I love music so much that I’m a music producer. I really got into the producing in 2001 when my kids mother and brother-in-law handed me a couple of programs that created music, at first I thought I needed a lot of studio gear, well you don’t, i can "READ MUSIC" ITS REAL SIMPLE if you know the music scale your ok, if you know how to count, then you know your "BPM" (beats per minutes) this is why I have so many tracks. I can compose 3 maybe 4 tracks a day, depend on time of day I started.........

Some of my music on here is not for the hip hop genre, some is for soundtracks for movies, jingles, commercials, and while your on hold on the phone etc..... Big Screen Productions My name is Timothy "Big Screen" Lowe. Im a musician and producer. My choice of instrument is the brass or the platinum trumpet. As a music producer I play many roles from acting as a creative source of hiring musicians and financing a particular music project. Usually I have knowledge of the over all recording process and help guide the artist or musicians through the recording process. I will be able to get the best records possible out of the artist I'm producing. I don't have to be the person sitting behind the mixing board; I usually hire a sound engineer to record, mix and master the records. I know music producers that are also very capable sound engineers, I will be studing audio engineering in the future. Usually music producers are musicians and can play or program more than one insrument. If you want to become a music producer, you must be able to communicate with artist and musicians, you will also need to have a good hear for great music. Music producers tell the sound engineer what kind of sound they are looking for in the studio. Most sound engineers are musicians as well and can help the music producers with the over all musicship song structure and desire sound, as a music producer I be using sound engineers that get into the project technically and creatively. Since I am a pop/hip-hop/r&b producer it is my role resonsibility to come up with or play most of the music I record. When I'm creating hip-hop beats, I usually program and play all the parts myself. I also like to hire musicians to play a part or two to give the song a fuller feel. The most important thing for music producer to learn these days are various music programs. The music industry is all about word of mouth. If you produce great hits/songs you create a good buzz.There will be a lot of work coming your way. A & R people like working with reliable music producers. In this digital world as a music producer, my best friend is always going to be my trumpet,midi keyboard and recording/music program software. I began to play my trumpet at the age of fourteen, right when I enrolled in middle school band. Music has always been my passion on through out high school. While in high school band, I recieved private trumpet lessons from legendary Jack Lightfoot. Mr. Lightfoot inspired me to continue to play the trumpet. While travaling on the road going to various venues throughout the United States, I met some national recording artist like MC 8, Peety Pablo, Loon, Eclipst, and B-Legit of the group "The Click". Im thankful to GOD for all I am .
