BIG TIM AKA BIG T AKA THA LADIES MAN... Young and restless, 20-year old microphone phenomenon Big Tim has got big plans. Born in Palatka, Florida grew up on both R&B and hip-hop. " I remember listening to R. Kelly, Snoop, Tupac, Master P, Scarface all them, and I would sing along and dance to the music", he recalls. As he grew older he was introduced to a local producer and asked to do a introduction to his album. Big Tim, 14 years old at the time was so excited he went home and wrote his first rhyme. A couple days later he went back to the studio and recorded what he wrote, 1 verse, 1 hook. After mixing and masterering Big Tim and the producer/artist sat and listened to the song over and over. The producer/artist then ask Big Tim if he wanted to record a whole album, of course he accepted, inspired by T.I. and Lil Wayne, he got more serious about his eventual career and started rehearsing with another friend also named Tim forming the duo TNT. A year later, the aspiring talent beat a case of stage fright and began entering local talent shows. Big Tim won a spot on a national tour in the summerof 2003 that hit 20 cities and gained tons of fans in every city he stepped foot in. With a successful tour under his belt, Big Tim went in the studio with a mission in mind, "I'm going to set Orlando on fire" He declared. He recorded 2 mixtapes, "City Runnaz Vol. 1 and Cirt Runnaz Vol. 2" with friends Jack Frost and Cutty Lou. With a buzz in Orlando He recorded an album, self tittled Big Tim" which got a lot of airplay in clubs and landed him a spot performing at a big convention in Atlanta,Ga for The Boys and Girls Club of America.With attendance over 500 Big Tim shook the building with a couple of songs from his album ending with "Hot In Herre", a song from platinum artist Nelly as his cover song, and signing more than 350 autograughs."IT was girls screaming everywhere, everybody wanted to take a picture wit me, I remember going up to my room in the elevator and there was 2 girls in there with me and I swear to god these girls screamed the whole time I was on it, it was crazy but fun" {he smiles) "I love it though" He went on to open up for Lil Wayne,Young Buck, Juvenile, and Trick Daddy in 2004-05. "I love music, it just makes me feel good when I hear the beat before I even write anything, then the finshed product. I love the fact that I can create the kind of music I do, that makes you want to dance, that makes you think, or even makes you wanna have sex I got it all and that's what's so great about music, it's for everybody, we can't live without it trust me so I gonna keep making music untill I leave this planet, then I'm gonna come back and do it all over again". He laughs. 2006 Big Tim took a break from music. " I had to get my mind right as some people would say, I got caught up with my friends and just doing things that lead my away from music, mainly the females, I would just wake up and my whole day was about females, but I learned alot thank god for them. Then 2007 came I just got inspired to write,write,write, and that'sall I did, I bought me a studio and put it in my crib, started making beats and doing photo shoots and I was right back on track, did alot of reading switched my style up because I used to write about being in the streets ya kno all thatz stuf I used to do but I got away from that, got away from everybody that I felt was holding me back from having everything I wanted, and when I did that everything worked out exactly as I planned it, so now my writing has transformed a lil bit and when the masses here what I have to say it will be COMPLETE!"
