Based out of Battle Creek, Michigan, Blind Reflection is a hard rock/alternative band that is starting to make its mark in the rock music world. Coming from such influences as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice & Chains, Metallica, Foo fighters to some classic rock such as AC/DC, Rush and Lynard Skynard you get the sounds of Blind Reflection. Long time friends from high school, Mike Butterworth (vocals), Kyle Billmaie (guitar) Tyler Dunn (lead guitar) hooked up with Jordan Herman (bass) and Ian Greiger (drummer) and decided to form the band Blind Reflection back around the end of 2010. Having lots of practice and rehearsals they decided it was time to go out and play to a live audience. So by the spring of 2011 then went out and played their first gig in their hometown. With a great response from the crowd they knew it was something they would keep doing. As time is progressing for them, they are starting to attract a huge local following, with huge crowds attending their hometown gigs and surrounding area as a result of diligent self-promotion and energetic live performances. Outside of performing cover tunes, they are also song writers performing their own originals and have been getting great feedback and some fan favorites. With all this coming together with such recognition, they are now getting opportunities to open for such bands as Framing Hanley, Tantric, and Zach Myers of Shinedown. Blind Reflection is currently working on their original hard rock melodies and lyrical sentiments for their sophomore album, which should be out end of 2011 beginning of 2012. They all love what they do and have a great chemistry on stage. Look for things to start to happen and keep an ear out for this young up and coming new rock band as they may be playing in a town near you!!!!.
