Bliss Bomb… a musical explosion of ecstasy, a band whose luscious, moody, groove creates joy so great as to cause the listener explosions of pleasure… music that envelops you, fills you, and lingers inside you with its sensual melodies, provocative lyrics, and resonating rhythms… Bliss Bomb was born out of a musical collaboration between three childhood friends, Jim Hardiman, Chris Hale and Sean McArthur, and singer/vixen Seana Fisher. This fruitful chemistry produced a handful of original songs and a 2008 EP Ethereality. This line up parted ways due to geographic reasons and never performed on stage together. Founding member and drummer Jim Hardiman spent the better part of 2009 recruiting all new members with the intent of continuing the Bliss Bomb imperative of creating music that moves the body, stirs the soul and awakens the senses. New singer Lisa Marinacci grew up listening to her father play Misty on the piano and was mentored by world renowned jazz guitarist, Joe Negri. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, she graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and spent many years in New York City writing and performing. She also lived in Las Vegas, where she performed in nearly every top casino with bands such as Harbor Lights Music, The Las Vegas Tenors, and musician Jimi Brent. A few years ago she released a jazz album with Mr. Negri titled Waiting for Spring, and is currently in the final stages of writing her rock musical, The Devil and Daisy Jane, which was recently performed as a staged reading in Hollywood, CA. Lisa is thrilled to be performing some of her original tunes with Bliss Bomb. For more info, www.lisamarinacci.com Guitarist Mark Chosak received his musical training at the Dick Grove School of Music, and has a long list of performing and session credits. He is currently a member of the Emilio Palame Band. Mark released a solo CD Perception in 1998 in the smooth jazz vein. Rounding out Bliss Bomb's nine-piece instrumentation is bassist Jeff Novack, keyboardist Gerald Thompson, back-up singers Diana Perkins and Sienna Thorgusen, tenor saxophonist Dan Heffernan and percussionist Gary Grantham. From sultry and smooth to jazzy and funky, Bliss Bomb's dynamic and sophisticated sound is a sure-fire way to get the party moving and the people grooving.
