Bloodline is a signed band originating out of York Region. They experienced their first taste of the stage at 9 and 10, shocking the audiences with their effortless renditions of “Hotel California.” During their high school career, Bloodline was immensely interested in writing lyrics, constructing riffs and strengthening their vocal harmonies, consistently challenging themselves as young musicians. From UK to US based rock, it seems that there is no stopping them from aspiring to be the musicians they avidly look up to.

With their unique and intricate usage of melody and song structure, Bloodline has been thrilling audiences for the past 10 years with their flawless sense of musicianship. With a steady drive to deliver an honest performance, Bloodline has developed an unmistakable skill for keeping the listener wanting more. Their preferences of musical genres journey across the spectrum of classic rock, heavy metal, fuck, progressive Jazz and blues. With intense training and an ear for potential, their influences have provided them with many resources to assemble their songs. Our band inspirations are different for each member which makes songwriting interesting and creative, when we all listen to different music from the Beatles, Metallica, Toto, Boston, Billy Joel, Dream Theater, Ludwig Van Beethoven and Eric Clapton.

In 2006, their debut album song titles “Reach” received critical acclaim from Barrie based radio station “Rock95”, gaining more respect among their counterparts in the industry.

“Bloodline” is the name of their debut full-length album. This album was produced and mixed by Jim Hopson (“Howie House of Music and Lake Effect Studios”) and Bloodline in Oshawa, Ontario. Each song on the album reveals a difference in musical ambition, creating an exclusive landscape of tight rhythmic structures, additive melodies and sing-song harmonies. With the irrefutable bland of drums, bass, electric guitar and piercing vocals, this album will soar to new heights. The album also features a guest appearance by Martin Aucoin who contributed as an organist and keyboardist.

Bloodline has performed countless shows at nightclub, bars, community festivals and fundraising events all around the city. Performing as a four-some they strive to promote their music, not only to be seen but to be heard. With independently funded performances across the GTA, Bloodline is always trying to get their music to new listeners. Besides their studio session work and live performances, Bloodline is relentlessly finding new sources of inspiration to tunnel their energy into their love for music. Bloodline has nationally released their album across Canada to many radio stations.
