Bobbi Delane was born in Houston, Texas. After being taken away from her biological mother and father, she was adopted into an amazing family of ten at the age of five. Bobbi first realized she had musical talent when her mother taught her a song on the piano and saw how simple it was to imitate. At the age of eleven, at a family reunion, Bobbi's sister dared her to sing karaoke. She chose to sing Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You." This was the exact moment that everyone realized Bobbi's future would somehow include singing. Bobbi's father knew that if she wanted to have a career as a musician she needed experience. Travelling around the country, as one of the top wrestling officials in the nation, he saw an opportunity for Bobbi to go with him to perform the National Anthem. Bobbi gained her stage experience while on the road with her father as well as performing the lead roles in several high school musicals. Now at the age of 25, Bobbi is still performing. Juggling work, school, single parenthood, and her music career, Bobbi is at the top of her game. She is currently singing with the band 'No Net' made up of Toby Myers (of RoadMaster/Mellencamp), Moe Z M.D. (of Tupac, Mellencamp, Wallflowers, Spice 1, NGN, New Edition......), and Craig Koons. Bobbi is strong-willed and confident in her pursuit to make a name for herself. Her trials and tribulations are what gives her the ability to turn her words into music. You can almost feel the emotion yourself while listening to her songs. Bobbi Delane is currently co-producing her first album (production done by Moe Z M.D.) which should be out in 2010. She gets her inspiration from such artists as Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blidge, Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton, and Anita Baker. Bobbi's determined attitude is what has allowed her to come this far already, but her upbeat personality, charm, and love for the art of music is what will allow her to go even further. Bobbi Delane will most definitely be one of the most inspirational singers that the R&B world has to offer.
