"Bongo" John is an established artist and recording engineer residing in the RDU area of North Carolina. Being a drummer, percussionist, and keyboard player has also helped him to better understand how to compliment other players in both studio and live performance.
With an eclectic taste in song-writing, he has managed to work with several styles/genres of music, such as rock, jam-band, funk, pop, reggae, folk, jazz, blues, drum-n-bass, electronica, world beat and classical.
Currently he is staying busy as a recording engineer and performer, occasionally writing songs and instrumentals. He is also in the process of revising a drum book with emphasis on the study of poly-rhythms.
